The Value of Testing

At present there are various schools of thought that have contributed to the Knowledge Management diffusion, especially focusing on the difference between training management with the traditional approach and knowledge management as strategic process for the development of any organization.
Many specific reference models have been defined, and many organisational consolidated models have been integrated with knowledge management , i.e. Total Quality Management model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (www.efqm.org) . The TQM models have been somehow the precursors of a new organisational philosophy based upon the importance of human resource within any organisation, of the necessary investment in terms of time and resources to obtain the adequacy of professional knowledge, related to the main strategic roles, of the attention to the people who work and to their satisfaction.

Therefore the Knowledge Management Process inserts itself effectively in an organisational model innovative but consolidated in a perfect way, emphasizing more the main concepts of knowledge value, first of all for the individual and then for the organization.
But for the organization it is not sufficient the knowledge is not consolidated and does not become one of the main element of the company strategy.
Within the organizations with medium and high complexity index, the change management should pass through the “Testing”. Also about Knowledge Management, when its importance and strong impact on the human resource management and main company processes has been understood.

By testing the related methodologies, the tools for analysis and diagnosis and knowledge mapping, the study and co-relation of Knowledge Management to organization strategies, passing through benchmarking and best practices, it is possible to understand its meaning and approach relevance, considering the Knowledge Management Process as one of the main tool for the complexity management and for the competitiveness of the organizations.

As matter of fact Knowledge Management is seen as a tool for change management and for organizations adaptation to the dynamic evolution of the reference contexts, to increase the management awareness towards the commitment and the devotion necessary to encourage the change, to point out and manage effectively roles professional knowledge related to objectives and strategies, independently whether we are referring to Ford Automotive, to LLoyd,Insurance Co. , to Cattolica University or Ministry of Heath.

The centrality is always the Man, in all his expressions.
